Terms and Conditions

School Bus Bookings

From September 2023 bookings can only be made for daily journeys every day of the term.

Parents/guardians must place bookings via the Crosfields home to school transport website. The booking window will open for bookings ahead of each term. Sufficient notice for placing bookings will be provided to parents.

The School offers places on its bus service, based on bookings and payments being completed, on a first-come, first-served basis. The school will do its utmost to accommodate all requests for use of the service.

Journeys booked but not taken are non-refundable.

Amendments / Cancellations

Amendments to bookings (for example: frequency, route, pick-up location, or drop-off point) should be made by emailing crosfields@studentsafe.com.

All bookings are termly and will be required to be booked in advance of each term. If you wish to cancel your child's bus provision part way through the term, you will still be charged the full amount for the remainder of that term.

Use of the Service

Students can only travel on the route for which they are registered.

Parents/guardians are asked to remind their children that when travelling on the school buses they remain bound by the School’s Behaviour Policy.

Parents/guardians are asked to remind their children that they must abide by the school’s Student Code of Conduct (detailed below).

Please note, this service is only available to students in Year 3 and above.

Changes to Service

The School reserves the right to make route alterations after publication but will provide notice of any such action.

Payment and Charges

Within each route, you will see the stops. Here, each stop has a price associated with it, and that price is in the stop name. This is a one way cost.

During the summer holidays, the Crosfields booking portal will be live for parents to book regular journeys. During this time, ad-hoc bookings will not be allowed.

Prices will increase for ad-hoc bookings and these bookings will be made available on the portal at the start of term.

The school encourages regular journeys on the bus routes and bookings to be made during the school holidays.

Costs will increase for ad-hoc journeys. Please refer to the table below to see what this increase will be:

Billing will be issued by the school thereafter.

Lost Property

Should a student leave any item on a school bus then parents should contact StudentSafe via email on crosfields@studentsafe.com to report the loss providing the bus route and a description of the item(s).

StudentSafe will contact the bus company to find out if the item has been found. Students can then collect the item, ideally on the next school run.
